Outdoor Intrusion Detector Introduction

1 Overview

Outdoor intrusion detector is a device installed around buildings to detect unauthorized entry into areas. It mainly uses infrared or microwave technology for monitoring, and will issue an alarm when people or animals enter the protected area.

2 Technical Principles

(1) Infrared detection: Using the scattering rebound method, the emitted infrared beam is concentrated on the receiving tube through a lens, and is in a normally open state without interference. When a target with high temperature such as the human body approaches, the absorption of heat energy on its surface reduces the amount of infrared light received and generates an electrical signal to determine whether there is illegal social activity.

(2) Microwave detection: A microwave unit refers to a unit module (also known as “LSI”) that is directly integrated into a chip after miniaturization for user applications, which can quickly capture moving targets and provide high security and low false alarm rates. This method can not only achieve the detection and tracking of target objects over long distances and wide angles, but also eliminate the influence of temperature difference.

3 Structural design

(1) Detectors: Installed around buildings, mainly monitored through infrared or microwave technology.

(2) Power supply system: Provide power supply to the detector to ensure normal operation.

(3) Alarm system: When someone or an animal enters the protected area, an alarm sound will be emitted and the user and security center will be notified to take corresponding measures to deal with the problem immediately.

(4) Waterproof and dustproof cover: can effectively protect the equipment and extend its service life.

(5) Management software: It can transmit the information to various terminals such as mobile phones and computer terminals, and supports remote management and real-time video monitoring functions.

4 Application field

Outdoor intrusion detectors are widely used in various public places such as enterprise factories, schools, hospitals, and other areas that require strict control. It can reduce theft and avoid unnecessary security risks and accidents, and is a very important security equipment.
